I am so thankful that I had the honor to meet this bay area Hip Hop legend Steve Gaines, better known as Baba Zumbi of the rap group Zion I. Zumbi was an amazing person, who loved his music and his 3 sons. We shared a common vision to spread peace and positivity. I suppose this is why he often wore Shalom Clothing. His crew had the utmost love and respect for him. His partner Deuce Eclipse and I have also become friends over the years, and when I 1st herd of Steves passing I reached out to see how he was doing. He asked for a special favor for me to create a few tees just for him and the crew. I was beside myself to have this special opportunity to do this. So we came up with this graphic that's shown above as tribute to Zumbi and legacy he leaves behind. His music and positive vibes will live forever.
