NEVER AGAIN

My heart is so heavy with all of the violence that has been taking place. My mind can’t fathom why someone would want to take another life. I have a hard time killing a spider, nevermind a human. I have a general rule that if a spider looks like it could kill me then I’ll probably try to move it outside and get it away from me. Save the life of the spider. But to take a life of a human? Most people are taught right from wrong, so why is there so much violence, especially among children? What’s going on with our kids today? Are violent video games the problem? Are the movies and shows that we’re watching corrupting the minds of the youth? Are kids hurting so bad inside that they feel like they need to take another life? I’m puzzled with the question why? Why is this happening? My soul is hurting. I’m doing all that I can to make a change. I feel like it’s my responsibility as a man, and a Peace Maker, to take a stand and make a difference.

I am in the process of creating a program that will mentor young men and women. This program will help youth find their passions, and give them the courage and confidence needed to go after their dreams. I’m dedicated to making a change. Together we must help our children. It’s time to make a change and take a stand. What will you do to be a positive role model? Will you make a change? Will you take a stand? I invite each and every person that’s reading this - please take a look what you can do to make the life of a child better. I believe that if we all try a little harder to guide our children a better way, then perhaps one day we can really find Peace on Earth, and see a change. I say Never Again to gun violence, I say never again to a child hurting another child. It’s time to make a change.
