The California Roots festival is one of the biggest celebration of music on the West Coast, attracting international artists like Alpha Blondy to local big names like E40. It is a 3 day festival of celebration held in Monterey California every year , it is also for many businesses to display their apparel or their craft to thousand upon thousands of potential customers.
The apparel industry always has a big presence at Cali Roots from artists selling their own clothing lines to people coming from all over the United Sates to display their designs, the festival is about good music happiness and people possibly finding connections with others to work together. Shalom Clothing decided to join the festivities this year and got a booth for the festival, making many new designs and working non stop to be ready - all designs are hand printed in the shop at the Tannery - which turned to long days for owner and designers Jacob Seedman. The festival was amazing with so many talented artists, and the handmade Shalom sign attracted a lot
of people to the booth, from artists to customers Shalom seemed to have a great presence at the festival even being spotted on stage with a member of the group Ozomatli.
Festival season is upon us so make sure to look for our booth at festivals this summer, we are always making new designs and trying to be part of as many local events in the Santa Cruz area as possible. Make sure to always check our website as we will be putting out limited designs almost weekly, or simply just stop by the shop at the Tannery Arts Center 1060 River Street Studio 109 Santa Cruz Ca and say hello. You might find us printing new designs, or just working on our computers listening to some good music.
