About three months ago I was visiting San Francisco. North Beach to be exact. Whenever I’m in San Francisco I always have to visit North Beach to get a sandwich from my favorite sandwich shop, Molinari’s. After eating my sandwich in the park I decided to walk around and check out some shops. I stumbled upon Goorin Bros hat shop. I have herd of Goorin before and I have been to the shop on Haight St, and I didn’t realize they had a shop in North Beach. After looking around a while, I struck up a conversation with the Assistant Shopkeeper, Tara Feiman.
Before long I was telling her of my clothing line Shalom. She invited me to come up and do a pop up shop sometime. I told her that I would love to do that. So after several months, we set a date and went for it. I had such a blast spending 2 days in not only my favorite city, but also now my favorite hat shop. I learned a lot about the company that was started in 1895, and had fun trying on different hats, getting to know the coworkers, and helping a few people pick out a lid. I felt right at home, and loved being able to spread peace in such a great shop. Take a look at some of the photos of the shop below and see for yourself what an amazing brand and shop Goorin Bros is
